Altona streets look a lot cleaner these days, thanks to the students of West Park School. Roughly 200 students participated in the 24th annual Cleanathon April 27, which not only had kids combing the streets for garbage, but also raising funds for Blue Sky Opportunities.

It’s shocking news to many in Manitoba to hear of the NDP’s budget cut to all regional development organizations. Pembina Valley Development Corporation was one of those to see cuts. Their funding of $60,000 is gone.
