Morris battled MCI in preseason action, coming out with the 6-1 win.

The Morris Mavericks dominated the MCI Blues in preseason action in Altona last week. Morris moved into a 2-0 first period lead, and added three more in the second. The Mavericks scored one more in the third, but MCI spoiled the shutout as they scored their lone goal of the game. Morris won 6-1. The MCI Blues begin their regular season against the W.C. Miller Aces in Altona today (Oct. 30) and will host the GVC Zodiacs in their home opener on Nov. 4. The Morris Mavericks opened their season against the PCI Trojans on Oct. 28. Results were not available as of press time. They host the Mountain Mustangs today (Oct. 30), and will travel to take on the Pembina Tigers in Pilot Mound Nov. 4. They will host the Carman Cougars Nov. 6.
