Passport adventure winners named

Left, Bette Mueller, Lois Dudgeon, Kevin Pauls, and Tyler Schroeder of the Pembina Valley Passport Adventure Committee make the draw for the grand prize winner of the 2009 Pembina Valley Passport Adventure.

One local resident came home with a prize after the Pembina Valley Passport Adventure 2009 winners were announced.

Altona’s Rhonda Loeppky won one of eight “weekend warrior” prizes of “A Slice of the Pembina Valley”

The ”Globe Trotter” Grand Prize ($500 value) of a 1-day family fossil dig adventure, provided by Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, plus an overnight stay in the Super 8 Motel (Morden) was won by Kassidy Watson of Manitou.

The “Road Runner” winners of various “Pembina Valley Getaways” were Sue Trenaman, Regina; Cornelia Van Dasselaar, Carman; Danielle Lysak, Winnipeg; Alain Philippot, Saint-Claude; Linda Catteeuw, Winnipeg; Helene LeJeune, Rathwell.

The seven additional “weekend warrior” prizes of “A Slice of the Pembina Valley” went to Brody Watson, Manitou; Debbie Kuhl, Roseisle; Joanne Payette, Winnipeg; Tami Watson, Manitou; Teresa Forhan, Winnipeg; Tim Morris, Manitou; Arnold Law, Morden.

Another adventure is planned for 2010.
