Foremost Floors celebrated the opening of their larger new location in the 4th Ave. Mall on Oct. 21.
Originally located two doors down since the business began in Feb. 2008, their new spot has about four times more space.
The new location allows them to showcase their products and services much better according to Phyllis Penner. As the cabinet designer for the business, Penner says Foremost Floors is so much more than just flooring.
"We work with the customer to design everything in their living and work space," she says. "We help you through the whole process and discuss each customer's needs and dreams for their home."
Using a special computer program, Penner can take your specifications and create a virtual image to give you a visual idea of how your finished project will look.
She says from start to finish, they have everything to design and create the best kitchen, bathroom, entertainment or office area to meet your individual needs. "Not too many other places can offer cabinetry, flooring, lighting and decorating all in one location."
They carry all the latest brands of quality flooring including laminate, hardwood, vinyls, cork, tile glass, ceramic tile, duraceramic and carpet. They also offer a wide array of Décor cabinets, along with a large selection of countertops and lighting to highlight your home's best features and make your work space more efficient.
"A lot of people don't know how many options are actually available to them," Penner says.
Estimator and installer Chuck Doerksen will help you work with your personal budget and bring your dream to completion. And if you need a little help selecting the right paint colours and styles, interior decorator Brigitte Braun will be more than happy to give you a hand.
"All the samples we have on hand right here in the store give you an opportunity to put it all together so you can make choices you'll be happy with," Penner says, adding, "It's so much fun helping a customer's dream come together."
